Whether we like it or not, Halloween is about death. (To be more specific, it’s that day we used to believe the dead could walk among us.) Which means it’s about fear. It’s about facing these things we spend the other 364 days…
This week I got to drink at a liquor store called Khoury’s, laugh at a comedy club, and vote at a caucus. Hopefully I’ll figure out what to laugh at and what to take seriously.
Khoury’s: Bar + liquor store. Finally, you can tell people you spent all day at the liquor store! Great energy and beer/wine camaraderie (especially on free pour days).
